What kind of treatments do you offer?

Honeydew offers all effective topical and oral medications for acne and other skin concerns. These include cleansers, moisturizers, prescription topical creams, oral antibiotics, and other oral medications like spironolactone and isotretinoin (Accutane). Your clinician will work with you to create and refine a holistic treatment plan that’s right for you.

Do you prescribe Accutane?

Yes, when medically appropriate.

What if I’m under 18?

If you or your child is under the age of 18, a parent or guardian should be part of the initial consultation. In circumstances where this is not possible, please contact info@honeydewcare.com and we will assist you with alternate ways to establish parental consent.

Is there a cure for acne?

Acne is a chronic condition that can come and go with certain hormonal, genetic, stress, and dietary signals, so there is no cure. We can prescribe effective treatment to get your skin clear, and then you can count on us for flare up and refill management. The closest treatment to a cure is Accutane (isotretinoin), which leads to long term remission in 70-80% of patients.

Do you accept insurance?

We will run the prescriptions through your insurance and help you find the lowest costs out there. The membership fee and any products are also eligible for HSA or FSA reimbursement.
