Can I get Accutane prescribed online?

Yes. Honeydew's licensed dermatologists prescribe Accutane (isotretinoin) entirely online — no in-person office visits required. You complete a short questionnaire, share photos of your skin, and a board-certified dermatologist reviews your case. If Accutane is appropriate, your prescription is sent directly to a pharmacy or delivered to your door. We also manage all iPLEDGE requirements, monthly check-ins, and lab monitoring on your behalf.

How is getting Accutane online through Honeydew different from going to a dermatologist's office?

With a traditional dermatologist, you may wait weeks or months for an appointment, visit in person every month for refills, and navigate iPLEDGE on your own. With Honeydew, everything is handled online, from your first consultation to monthly monitoring and prescription refills. You get the same licensed dermatologist oversight, just without the waiting room.

What acne treatments can I get online through Honeydew?

Honeydew's dermatology providers prescribe the full range of FDA-approved acne treatments online, including Accutane (isotretinoin), low-dose Accutane, spironolactone, tretinoin, doxycycline, clindamycin, and custom compounded formulas. Whether you're dealing with mild breakouts, hormonal acne, cystic acne, or treatment-resistant acne, your provider builds a personalized treatment plan and adjusts it over time as your skin responds.

Is online acne treatment as effective as seeing a dermatologist in person?

Yes, the treatments are identical. Honeydew providers are board-certified dermatologists and licensed nurse practitioners who prescribe the same FDA-approved medications you'd receive in a traditional office. The difference is convenience: you get expert acne care without the wait, without commuting, and with ongoing support 7 days a week.

Do I need insurance to see an online dermatologist through Honeydew?

No insurance is required to get started. Honeydew charges a flat monthly, 4-month or annual membership fee, and we'll run your prescriptions through your insurance to minimize medication costs, in some cases bringing your Accutane or other prescriptions to $0. If you don't have insurance, generic pricing is available starting as low as $30/box. The membership fee is also HSA/FSA eligible.
